Client Testimonials
“I discovered the gift of Patty when I had a tendon tear that turned into a frozen shoulder. I had been locked in deep pain for months. The Duke Sports Med doctor said it was one of the worst ones they had seen. Another doctor suggested surgery and the second opinion supported my working with Patty. What a miracle! Patty is extraordinarily skilled, intuitive about one’s body, and diligent in her orthopedic massage work. She helped me laugh through the pain and gave me hope.”

“Patty travels to practice with the best in the world to stay at the top of her technique. I went to Patty with plantar fascitis. I had tried everything from the foot doctors. After only 3 sessions with Patty, it was gone completely—no more pain when I walked. The work is intense and Patty knows exactly what she is doing.”
— Lauren Rivers, Rivers Agency
“My primary care doctor referred me to Patty for treatment of chronic joint pain. Patty has remedied that pain, and transformed my posture and physical attitude. Patty is a warm, dedicated, very knowledgeable professional, and I don’t know anyone who is more compassionate.”
— Lynn York
“My first visit to Patty came as a result of numerous injuries suffered during a ‘voluntary dismount’ off a runaway mustang. My shoulder pain was so intense I could hardly use my arm to drive to her office. The Urgent Care doctor told me I likely had torn my rotator cuff, but Patty did not feel the physical symptoms fit the diagnosis. She proceeded to find and release a deep muscle spasm beneath my scapula related to the fall. Every area of trauma received the same deep attention and I left there greatly improved and with full range of motion in my shoulder. Her diagnostic and therapeutic training along with her intuitive nature make her a gifted therapist.”
— Sara Marion, Medical Professional
“Patty is an amazing bodyworker. The KMI work she has done with me has significantly changed my posture and the ease with which I use my body. As a professional horse trainer focusing on dressage, symmetry in my body is critical, as is being able to have strength while maintaining softness and fluidity in my body. Thanks to Patty, I am able to ride and train with much less effort, and my horses are moving better because of it. Patty is one of those rare people who is incredibly passionate about her work and helping people feel better.”
— Vanessa Craft, Breezing Hill Farm
“Patty is simply wonderful. I came to see her after a year of discomfort in my lower back. I tried physical therapy, working out, and chiropractic, all of which were helpful, but none were as helpful as a session with Patty. In her words, I’m ‘better aligned from top to feet’ after a session, and regular maintenance sessions keep my lower back pain away. And one bonus from a session with Patty that people may not realize—I’m taller when I leave!”
— Robin Langdon
“After two hip replacements and intolerable, debilitating pain, I was depressed and wondered if relief was possible. For years, I have struggled with the ravages of rheumatoid arthritis on my body and spirit. With Patty’s help, I had immediate relief, my constant pain abated, my structure was more aligned, my strength and flexibility increased, and my inflammation lessened considerably. My outlook on life has drastically changed. Patty is a true healer and a giver. Her empathy is genuine and organic. She constantly ups her game by gaining additional expertise and she has an extensive knowledge of the human body. I heartily recommend her to anyone looking for a healthier and happier life.”

Her practice is a friendly and welcoming environment. “I came to see Patty after a physical therapist suggested that I try Visceral Manipulation. I had never had any type of bodywork before I came to see Patty, but I found it quite helpful. My body was recovering from several spine surgeries, and I was stuck in a pain cycle. I tried regular massage and I would only see an improvement in soft tissue soreness and spasms for a couple hours. With the bodywork, my pain decreased for days at a time. I also often leave Patty’s office feeling mentally rejuvenated.”

“In my 40+ years of medical practice, I finally met a clinician who embodies three essential qualities: an outstanding knowledge and skillset related to their discipline, a remarkable ability to relate to patients in a humane and caring way, and a constant effort to update skills and knowledge out of a sense of devotion to the patient’s well-being. Patty is one of those rare individuals. She has developed a profound and comprehensive understanding of fascia and how fascial injuries cause pain and dysfunction. I feel privileged to be included in her practice.”
— Cliff H. Schilke, MD
“Patty is extremely talented and knowledgeable, and has great insight into how the body works. She is also extraordinarily kind and supportive. She has helped me recover from hip surgery and chronic back pain when no amount of physical therapy, yoga, and massage therapy had helped me. I trust her judgment on health and well-being, and have learned a great deal from her. She’s one of my favorite people in the world.”
— Grainne Fitzsimons
“Whether it is my neck, shoulders, back, hip, or a combination, Patty finds the exact spots that need to be released. I leave with restored ability to do my daily activities and to exercise to keep my body healthy. She has a wealth of knowledge about stretching, natural healing, and nutrition, and she regularly attends workshops to further her comprehensive understanding of the way the human body works.”
